Kryetari i Bordit të Gjonaj Group Holdings, Marin Gjonaj, me ftesë të Dhomës Amerikane të Tregtisë, mori pjesë në delegacionin e bizneseve më të mëdha shqiptare që u mirëpritën nga institucionet amerikane në Uashington D.C. Mikpritësi kryesor i këtij aktiviteti biznesi ishte Dhoma e Tregtisë e Shteteve të Bashkuara në Uashington.
Z. Gjonaj dhe pjesëmarrësit e tjerë vizituan dhe u takuam me përfaqësues në Departamentin Amerikan të Shtetit, Departamentin e Tregtisë, Korporatën e Zhvillimit Ndërkombëtar (DFC), Këshillin e Atlanikut (Atlantic Council), Qendrën për Sipërmarrjet Private Ndërkombëtare (CIPE), Shërbimi Komercial i SHBA dhe Agjencia Amerikane për Tregti dhe Zhvillim (USTDA), etj. Në këto takime u theksua rëndësia e thellimit të bashkëpunimit në fushën e biznesit mes SHBA-ve dhe Shqipërisë.
Gjithashtu, një takim biznesi është zhvilluar nga Ambasada e Shqipërisë në Uashington, ku morën pjesë bizneset shqiptare si dhe përfaqësues të biznesit amerikan dhe institucioneve.
Z. Gjonaj, në këto takime, foli ndër të tjera për mundësitë e bashkëpunimit me bizneset amerikane në fushën e telekomunikacionit dhe të energjisë. “Potencialet e bashkëpunimit janë të mëdha, dhe ne si Gjonaj Group jemi të hapur për të nisur sipërmarrje të përbashkëta me partnerët amerikanë. Jemi ndër aktorët kryesorë në fushat e telekomunikacionit dhe energjisë në Shqipëri dhe rajon” tha ai. Z. Gjonaj falënderoi edhe AmCham Albania për këtë urë bashkëpunimi të krijuar mes bizneseve shqiptare dhe atyre amerikane.
Gjonaj Group është prezent në tregun amerikan në fushën e telekomunikacionit përmes kompanisë INFOTelecom ICS, dhe kompanisë bijë Mactal Corp me seli dhe punonjës në Nju Jork, e cila jep shërbime për tregun amerikan, Kanadanë, Meksikën dhe Amerikën e jugut.

Gjonaj Group Visits U.S. Institutions Following an Invitation from AmCham Albania
The Chairman of the Board of Gjonaj Group Holdings, Marin Gjonaj, at the invitation of the American Chamber of Commerce, participated in a delegation of leading Albanian businesses that was welcomed by U.S. institutions in Washington, D.C. The main host of this business program was the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Washington.
Mr. Gjonaj and the other participants visited and met with representatives of the U.S. Department of State, the Department of Commerce, the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC), the Atlantic Council, the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE), the U.S. Commercial Service, and the U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA), among others. During these meetings, the importance of strengthening business cooperation between the United States and Albania was emphasized.
In addition, a business meeting was organized by the Embassy of Albania in Washington, attended by Albanian businesses as well as representatives of American businesses and institutions.
During these meetings, Mr. Gjonaj spoke, among other topics, about opportunities for cooperation with American companies in the telecommunications and energy sectors. “The potential for cooperation is significant, and we at Gjonaj Group are open to launching joint ventures with American partners. We are among the leading players in the telecommunications and energy sectors in Albania and the region,” he said. Mr. Gjonaj also thanked AmCham Albania for creating this bridge of cooperation between Albanian and American businesses.
Gjonaj Group is present in the U.S. market in the telecommunications sector through INFOTelecom ICS and its subsidiary, Mactal Corp, which is headquartered in New York and employs local staff. The company provides services to the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and South American markets.
