MEETING WITH CARLOS SLIM DOMIT – COLLABORATION BETWEEN GJONAJ GROUP HOLDINGS AND AMERICA MOVIL SA

Marin Gjonaj, President and Chairman of GJONAJ Group Holdings, conducted a number of important business meetings in Mexico City during last week.

Mr. Gjonaj held a meeting with the known businessman Mr. Carlos Slim Domit, Chairman of Grupo Carso Holding, in Mexico. New opportunities of business cooperation between two states and the creation of further economic spaces, was the main topic of this meeting. The collaboration between the two groups will have a main focus in the fields of technology, telecommunication, broadband and commercial activities, fields in which both groups have expertise. During these meetings, an agreement was reached for the mutual cooperation in trading in the fields of commercial activity and technology.

 

Mr. Carlos Slim Domit has been the Chairman of the Board of Sanborns Group, S.A.B. de C.V. since 1997 and serves as its Managing Director. Mr. Domit serves as the President and Managing Director of Sanborns S.A De CV Group. Mr. Slim Domit serves as Managing Director and General Director of Sanborn Hermanos. He served as the President of Sanborns Hermanos Related Chief of a main directorate – Sanborn Brothers; President – Telephones of Mexico and President of Carso Global Telecom, S.A.B. de C.V. He serves as the Chairman of Telmex SA, U.S. Commercial Corp., S.A. de C.V, Grupo Sanborns Sa De Cv, and Promotora Sanborns, S.A. de C.V. y C�as. The Slim Family is as well the biggest humanitarian foundation in Latin America with Carlos Slim Foundation.

Meanwhile Mr.Gjonaj represented GJONAJ Group Holdings , which operates a number of companies as Digicom, InfoTelecom, ProMarketing, MACTAL, Balkan iReplace, and Macom.
